Void Survival Guide

How to thrive in The Void:

Place dirt, plant sapling, make sure sapling is near a light source, wait for sapling to grow.

Harvest tree for wood, gather more saplings.

Mine some deepslate and use it to make a stone pickaxe.

Right click your wooden tools to launch yourself into the air.

Locate an ore island and find some iron.

Beware of mobs, they get stronger the further away from spawn you go.

Ensure you are always near a light source, as the void is very cold. You will quickly freeze to death if you do not have any torches nearby. Campfires and lanterns provide more heat in a larger radius. 
Shroomlights, Glowstone, Frog Lights, and Lava are warm enough to sustain you during the more difficult Void Storms.

Sculk is cold.

You do not need food in the void.
